                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 704 AND
                   705 SOUTH SCENIC HIGHWAY, BEING ON THE
                   NORTHWEST AND SOUTHEAST LINE OF SOUTH SCENIC
                   HIGHWAY SOUTHWEST OF SANDERS ROAD, FROM
                   TEMPORARY R-1 TO R-1 RESIDENTIAL ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
        
                A tract of land located at 704 and 705 South Scenic
                Highway, being on the northwest and southeast line
                of South Scenic Highway southwest of Sanders Road. 
                Part of lot 1, block B, lots 33-38 and part of lots
                31, 32, and 39, block C, and part of block D,
                Cravens Land Company Subdivision, as shown by plat
                of record in plat book 4, page 9, ROHC, together
                with part of South Scenic Highway and part of
                Sanders Road; being the Marcia McMillin and Garvin
                McMillin Colburn annexation area as described in
                Chattanooga City Ordinance No. 10245.  Tax Map No.
                167A-G-4, and 167A-J-4.
               
         from Temporary R-1 Residential Zone to R-1 Residential Zone.

              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
